Darcey is an American born Vocalist, Songwriter, Actress and Author. Winner of the 2012 original song recording for the NY Independent Film Festival, LIFF, Darcey is, in the words of Chip Monte "a natural force that hypnotizes as well as stirs the soul." 

A free spirit between measures but not in chance, she spent 30 years close to New York State performing five nights a week with 3 bands, 10 years a piece.  Five of those years at the world famous Gurney's Inn Resort as resident vocalist singing for Martin Scorsese, Halston, Dick Cavet, Cheryl Teiggs, Laureen Becall, Bill Murray and the years of guests at the Inn. With this experience comes amazing repertoire and interpretation.  She has stuck to the charts for many years but in the last 10, musically flies through the air with the greatest of ease, never concerned about the net, rounding out 40 years of song.

She is a songwriter from an early age cataloging over 50 songs.  She is said to have a "deep emotional intelligence" by Becky Cole, Emmy writer.  Her creative force and work ethic are strong.

Resident vocalist Gurney's, Montauk, NY, 5+ years. The Triad and Danny's Skylight Room, NYC, Journey's and The Mel Torme' concert for The Parlor Jazz Series Bridgehampton, American Hotel Sag Harbor, Pierre's Bridgehampton, Community Service, House Band Vocalist at The Ram's Head Inn on Shelter Island, 9 years, Wild By Nature Company Vocalist 12 Years and her sold out Holiday show.  The countless 5 wedding per weekend, along with funerals, wakes and the Jersey City Mayor inauguration on Ellis Island has giving her musical connection through life events. She is an educator of music for families with Music Together, a Princeton researched based program teaching families rhythm and tone.

Studied Voice with Katie Agresta and Kurt Elling and
has attended the Singer's Forum, NYC, for countless Master classes.
She co-produced her 3 CD's, all containing originals and unique covers.
